Why do I feel guilty? Do I have a sense of right and wrong? God shows us how to do the right thing and gives us a path to forgiveness.

There are codes of conduct practically everywhere. In civil governments, on social media, and at family gatherings are just a few. But is there a moral code that exists above the rest? Is there a way to really know how to do the right thing?

God created laws to help us live loving and rich lives. When we commit acts against others, sometimes we wonder “Why do I feel guilty?” God teaches us how to do the right thing in Scripture and, in his endless mercy, offers a path to be saved from this sin through Jesus.

1 Timothy 3:16 talks about the “mystery of godliness.” God still loves His created beings despite our law-breaking personalities. The punishment for breaking God’s law is eternal death, but God loves us so much that He paid that punishment for us. Jesus is the way to salvation and the only path to God’s forgiveness.
